Unconditional Love

Me and my beautiful Lab Kali who constantly reminded me that Unconditional Love is within reach.

It is quite the journey of letting go of who you think you are to transitioning to who you really are which is infinite love and intelligence. On my journey I used to visualize it as steps to the Stairway to Heaven. Each step offered insight and the dismantling of another illusion. Sometimes I would just sit there and think, "I can't go back down the steps but I am not ready yet for the next one." Each step is so essential. While the purging of the old is never pleasant, the realizations are life changing. And the encouraging piece is that it does get easier because you slowly begin to trust the surrendering process. The most beautiful thing I noticed is that I was able to love a little more deeply each step and that love is beyond words. The word abundance is now not an empty word to me, but a knowing. You would have to experience it, like most things, to completely understand and then you will never go back to loving from a place of lack where your cup is constantly needing to be filled by the superficial things

When heaven and earth bow to the sun

And the grip of the ego will be done

When the song of your soul plays on key

And you feel the pulse of the maple tree

When you greet the day with a new born kiss

And rights and wrongs cease to exist

When tenderness touches your thick skin

And you play the game but not to win

When the flowers open in nature's field

And all the hurts have been loved and healed

When the chimes of forgiveness softy ring

And you the feel the connection to everything

When the silence meets the seagulls cries

And you start to remember why you're alive

When your true essence makes it debut

And the feeling of wholeness now shines through

When the answers to your questions are now clear

And you know who you are why you are here

When the truth is awakened by the mourning dove

You have now met the God of Unconditional Love
