The Voyage of Love

ree

Learning to love

Is a solitary sail

Navigating the waters

Blindly in braille

The boat starts to rock

From the winds of change

You feel lost at sea

Abandoned and strange

The disturbance is coming

You ignite a flare

But there is no where to run

You must remain here

It was never about them

It was always about you

Healing the lesions

That came bleeding through

Still waters run deep

When the sails are down

As you float in the presence

Of the silent sound

Life has not forsaken you

It is cradling with tender care

Transition is unfolding

In the foggy misty air

Trust what is difficult

Trust what is sad

Release expectations

For the outcome you had

Some sadness is large

Some anger is a gale

The captain of the ship

Knows courage will prevail
