I remember reading this nursery rhyme when I was a little tot. I found it depressing and it haunted me so I decided to rewrite it. You can always change the ending to your story.

Humpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king’s horses
And all the King’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty
Together again
So they called in the experts
For a second opinion
They arrived from Jupiter
A spaceship of minions
They did an assessment
It didn’t take long
To find the King’s men
Were all doing it wrong
The minions went to work
Restoring broken parts
Administering faith and love
In everyone’s hearts
The king’s horses stood by
Alongside their master
Thinking their beliefs
Were a storybook disaster
Humpty Dumpty took a risk
He flew under the radar
He knew playing it safe
Never got him that far
He just needed the souls
Who were not of this realm
To know all things are possible
When love takes the helm
There is always hope
There is always a minion
Don’t rely too much
On another’s opinion
Humpy Dumpty is now thriving
In the land of milk and honey
You can always edit your story
Love is richer than money!
